A sunny wedding at the castle of Meleto in Tuscany

It was the perfect sunny day everyone imagine when thinking about Tuscany and its landscapes! A perfect sunny day to hear far the sound of the bagpipes whispering among the cypresses and olive trees! A perfect day for a wedding in Tuscany.

This was the scenario of Kylie and Matthew’s wedding at the Castle of Meleto (Castello di Meleto) in Gaiole in Chianti, Tuscany: a medieval fortress immersed among the hills of this romantic town which is so famous in Italy as it is where Count Ricasoli gave birth to the “receipt” of the Chianti wine!

Kylie and Matthew are coming from Great Britain and Kyle has Scottish background so it was so great to incorporate Scottish traditions with the Italian ones. The couple got married in a very romantic Church few minutes from the Castle. White and purple roses were used to decorate this ancient Church.

An elegant white Rolls picked up the newly married couple outside the Church and took them to the Castle then where all the guests were waiting for their arrival. The reception then started: Prosecco served with Amore! The perfect combination to start the new life of husband and wife in such a poetic location!
